The incineration of animal waste in the European Union is made according to the Regulation (EC) no. 1069/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 laying down sanitary rules regarding animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption.
The rules of application for this Regulation are detailed in Regulation (EU) no. 142/2011 of the Commission of 25 February 2011 implementing Regulation (EC) no. 1069/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down health rules for animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption and for the implementation of Council Directive 97/78 / EC as regards certain samples and products which are exempt from veterinary checks at the border in accordance with the said Directive.
In addition to the terms of the above mentioned Regulations, depending on the country (or certain regions) there may be additional requirements imposed by the authorities (environment, health, sanitary-veterinary, etc.). We recommend that you also check locally if there are additional restrictions in the area where you intend to install an incinerator for animal wastes.
Our company will provide you all the required documentation, certifications needed to prove the compliance of the equipment.
